Gorgeous locations. Private sites. Bring your own. Day experiences. Small festival feel. Night-time entertainment

Secret Camping Weekend is a new breed of laid back weekend getaway. We takeover private campsites across the UK and provide organised experiences and workshops during the day, with fun themed entertainment at night (even the odd party)!

Our experiences include Group Yoga, outdoor campfire cooking lessons, cocktail making classes, organised nature walks and photography workshops, trips to local beauty spots, an outdoor cinema, mountain bike hire, sea kayaking, street food market, sports day games, acoustic music sets and themed evening entertainment.

We wrap up our SCW package with some glamping upgrades, like luxury showers and toilets, an indoor bar area, fully furnished bell tent and yurt hire, VW camper vans and private hot tub hire.

AT SCW HQ we wanted to redefine the way people enjoy camping. Our weekends have a vibe somewhere between traditional camping (but with more activities) and festivals (but with less intensity). The main objective of course is delivering old fashioned fun for everyone.

A great social experience, lots of likeminded people enjoying a weekend away with friends and family and plenty of organised experiences both onsite and off to keep you entertained.
Reality is most of the people who come along are aged between 25 – 45. Friends who are having a weekend away together, couples and young families. That said, everyone is welcome.

Everyone that comes to the event adopts the same welcoming and friendly vibe and just has a good time.

You get 3 nights camping (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) in your own tent or caravan or campervan on a beautiful site over the Bank Holiday weekend.

There are a range of activities and experiences onsite, some are included in the ticket price and some require reservation and an additional payment for booking. Have a look at our experiences page for more info.

Definitely, We don’t ever want to turn into a child’s play event, we want to keep our maturity and culture, but children can have a great time and with our new ‘Little Rascals’ creche area, Mum and dad can even get a few hours to themselves.

We have special family camping areas which have been placed a little bit further away from the night time entertainment if you want to put them to sleep earlier on. All activities finish at 12 pm though anyway.

You can bring as much or as little as you like to dress up and make yourselves over with. This year our secret party will have the theme glitter and gold! So go crazy! We will have a few tubs of glitter I’m sure.
Yes, we do we have a fully licensed bar area within our massive Tipi, we will have a couple of areas for you to purchase drinks from and the themes are spirits and cocktail, beers and cider and fizz. The bar will run until late.
This is a fee charged by Eventbrite. This fee goes directly to them and covers you. It is insurance that if the event is cancelled or postponed you can get a full refund on your ticket price. This is also a payment processing fee for the actual secured transaction.
I’m afraid not, there is too much risk with dogs being allowed. We know people love animals, but we just can’t bring them to an event of this nature. Sorry.
We do our best to make sure all wash facilities are clean and maintained and most importantly there is enough of them! We have a selection of traditional porta loos with cleaners coming each day and some luxury shower and toilet blocks as well. You may need to queue for a short while for a shower in the morning, but certainly not for hours.
We will have a charge point with electric hook up, but you will need to leave devices at your own risk, maybe get yourself a car charger, portable battery or just go off grid for once.
We will have some BBQ’s set up for shared use around the site, you can also bring your own BBQ, but it must be raised up from the ground, so please bring bricks. We will have some cutlery cleaning facilities as well where you can clean up after your bacon sandwiches.
There is allocated car parking away from the camping areas. This is because of health and safety requirements, and to prevent any vehicles getting stuck if the weather changes. The car park area is only a short walk to the camping area and we will have a couple of trolleys available to borrow if you need them.
